Commercial Application

To qualify for this award, companies must practically apply new technology in the pursuit of efficiency, business advantage and profit.

The judges will look for commercially applied innovation. Entrants will be asked to demonstrate the significance of their technology in relation to emissions reduction, practicality, reliability and overall commercial success.

Note: This award is for the application of “hard” technology. The judges cannot judge the relative merits of standalone, trading, or financial software applications, though software that forms a part of, for example, a technologically innovative control system may be considered.

Judges will consider any revenue-generating technology implemented on a commercial basis since June 30, 2011.
