Green Energy Supplier

A key component to future energy sustainability clearly lies in the development of clean energy sources. This award will recognize the organization that has demonstrated the strongest commitment to aggressively pursuing low or zero-emission energy production. Through specific initiatives, the Green Energy Supplier takes aim at emission reduction by generating cleaner, more sustainable energy.

Nominees must be producing energy and may include energy companies, industrial end-users who generate energy, or government departments which have embarked on green energy production. Such projects and initiatives may include the production of biofuels, solar energy, geothermal, wind, low-impact hydro, nuclear, ocean energy or other emerging sources of alternative energy.

Judges will consider any initiative or project implemented since January 2011.
